Recovery Support

Willow Foundation’s Heartwood Center embraces a low-barrier model for entry by not imposing residency, income, sobriety, or proof of identification on individuals seeking services. This model effectively reduces stigma and creates equitable access to service, especially for those actively experiencing substance use.

Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) Services are provided at Heartwood Center by New Roots, Inc. and include developing links between treatment programs and community-based resources. While engaged in CRS services, an individual develops and implements skills, competencies, and connections uniquely found in the recovery community that enhance their ability to begin or maintain long-term recovery. These opportunities grow and develop based on the needs and goals of an individual utilizing a peer-based recovery-centric framework.
